The residents arrive for the first day of sober living and meet the returning house manager, Jennifer Gimenez. Jennifer finds an old speed pipe in Tom's bag and must drug test him. Dennis challenges Jennifer's authority and refuses to sign the rules of the house and an argumentative Kari Ann is allowed to stay after testing positive for methamphetamine.
