Beyhadh is a romantic thriller showcasing lives of Maya, Arjun and Saanjh. Arjun and Saanjh are dancing in front of Ganesha idol, while Maya enters the venue and bows down before the deity. Later, Maya escapes and finds Arjun's house. She stands outside his house and sees him with Saanjh and Arohi. Maya is heartbroken and decides to exact revenge on Saanjh using Arohi.
Lalwani finds Maya before Arjun's bodyguards do and helps her escape. The next day, Maya arrives at Arohi's school and creates a distraction to gain Arohi's trust. Maya pretends to be one of the staff and starts working in the school. Meanwhile, Saanjh suspects that something bad is about to happen.
Maya meets Arohi and tries to befriend her. But, before she can do so, Arjun and Saanjh arrive at the school. Maya gets terrified and wears a mask to hide her identity. Arjun bumps into Maya but does not recognize her. Later, Saanjh arrives at a graveyard to meet a stranger.
Arjun wakes up from a nightmare, in which he saw Saanjh getting killed. Arjun believes that someone has entered the property and orders the guards to conduct a search. Meanwhile, at school, Aarohi sees Maya coming out of the store room. She questions Maya about the need to access the store room, which is out of bounds for the staff. Later, Lalwani arrives at Arjun's factory and mixes a substance in the solution.
Lalwani does his job and escapes before Arjun can catch hold of him. Aarohi bumps into Maya and finds her secretive. Jhanvi arrives at the school but fails to find Aarohi. Meanwhile, Arjun suspects something to be wrong and orders all the stocks to be recalled. But, the damage has been done as children who have eaten the chocolates being to fall sick.
Arjun finds an old tape recorder. When he plays it, he discovers Maya's favourite song and reaises that she has escaped from the morgue. He goes to Maya's psychiatrist to enquire about Maya. Meanwhile Maya tries to get close to Arohi. Later, Arjun decides to make a plan to take his revenge on Maya.
Arjun gets ready to kill Maya and loads his gun with bullets. Meanwhile, Saanjh suspects that Arjun is hiding something from her. Arjun reaches the venue for the garba night. Saanjh breaks down remembering Aarohi. Meanwhile, Maya tells Lalwani that she merely used Aarohi to hurt Arjun. Then, Arjun is informed by his bodyguards about Maya's whereabouts. But, when they reach the spot, Maya is no where to be found. Later, Saanjh is diagnosed with depression. Wanting to help Saanjh, Arjun assures Saanjh that Maya will never be able to take away their happiness.
Maya calls up Arjun and lets him know that he cannot stop her from meeting him. Later, Arjun and Saanjh arrive at the fertility centre and meet the woman who has been chosen as the surrogate mother for their child.
