Three parents, who are childhood friends, want to watch a film together on a weekday, a simple wish from life.What follows is two days of a roller-coaster ride full of constipated children, grandparents not willing to babysit, expensive phones being flung in the air and toddlers' emotional blackmail when a parent is leaving. Radhika is triggered by a random person calling her a housewife and starts looking for a job, while Avinash faces intense challenges at home as takes up a ‘work project’. Meanwhile, Suman for the first time in life, spends some quality time with her ‘un-involved’ father.
The three friends go on a day-trip to pick up a nanny for Kadambari, as an endless misadventure is masterminded by an unexpected nemesis.
Suman and Avinash are invited to a dreamy birthday party which is the first project for Radhika’s event company.
The friends deal with the lack of intimacy in their relationships after having kids and realise the immense difficulty of bringing up these issues in a marriage.
