Just before their wedding, Gao Kai's fiancée Tian Xin suffers a car accident that leaves her mute. Her cousin, psychiatrist Li Shi Hui, is optimistic about Tian Xin's recovery. However, upon returning to her job, Shi Hui is suffers severe headaches and hallucinations, leading her to lash out at her supervisor.
