Femme rock

Women and rock have a distinctive sound, a hidden power. They’re tones, distortions, chords, and rhythms that tend to be more unpredictable to the average ear. Perhaps women are able to enrich music with their instability, strength, and raw emotion. The bands Lilits, Besos Con Lengua, Niñas Con Frenillo, and Las Jonathan are all made up of women, and they play rock.
